Description

This plug-in adds support for the legacy Napco Gemini security panels that use GEM-Automation. It allows HomeSeer to receive configuration information (zones/areas), real-time status updates (events/keypad status messages) and to control certain functions of the panel. It adds many new triggers and several new actions to HomeSeer.

Requirements

Napco GEM or GEMC panel as documented in the GEMINI Home / Building Automation Development Specification (WI876H 03/13)
- GEM-P3200 panels with v11 hardware (i.e. "older", pre-2003) are reported to work with GEM-AUTOMATION
- GEM-P3200 panels with v20 or newer hardware (i.e. "newer", 2003+) are reported to NOT work with GEM-AUTOMATION despite the Napco dev spec documention
GEM-AUTOMATION (firmware upgrade) REQUIRED
GEM-RS232 (recommended) or PCI-MINI (optional) are required
GEM-RM3008 (optional external relay support)
